Looks well placed and he is likely to feature in the finish again. NIHONPIRO ROGER (5) was safely held when resuming from a spell behind Congestus in the G2 Kyoto Shimbun Hai over 2200m, beaten 5 lengths into eighth. This looks a more suitable assignment. GENJI (1) has not won for a long while. Last raced on June 6 when beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth at Tokyo over 2400m. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a major role. STRAIGHT BLACK (7) turned in a better run last start, beaten 1.5 lengths into fifth over 2400m at Tokyo. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
