ASK DEAD HEAT (10) is close to breaking through after finishing second last start over 2600m at Kokura. Long overdue with a string of minor placings. Will relish the drop in class so he is sure to prove hard to beat. KING'S TRUE (5) hasn't made an impression since resuming despite market confidence. Last start could only manage fifth over 2500m at Nakayama. Rates highly in this line up. Gets his chance. DELICIEUX (3) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth over 2000m at this track. Fitter so expect a better run this time. HULA LANAKILA (13) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 7 lengths away in 17th over 2000m at Kokura. Has his share of ability and is a top-three prospect.
