GROSBEAK (3) ran below expectations when sent around at $1.10 fresh from a spell at Tokyo Dirt over 1600m last time, finishing 13th and beaten 9 lengths. Form prior to that hard to fault. Looks well placed so expect a return to the winner's list. PIKO SEA (1) is back after a break of three months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Expect him to play a major role. RED BELLE DANSE (6) finished third last start over 1700m at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. TAKERU HURLOCK (12) was comfortably accounted for when seventh last time out over 1150m at this track, beaten 11 lengths, after a win at Niigata Dirt at the previous outing. One of the main hopes on his best form.
