MEIKEI REIN (13) tackled a 1400m race at Kyoto Dirt when fresh from a spell last start and finished fourth, beaten 2.25 lengths. Has never missed the placings at the second run back so he looks sure to be in the finish. SHUREN (12) doesn't have the best strike rate but ran a strong race when resuming from a spell last time out over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt, finishing second and beaten 2.5 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. KYOEI CANCER (16) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt, finishing second and beaten 1.75 lengths. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. DIOGENITE (2) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing sixth at Niigata Dirt over 1800m. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot return to winning ways.
