CEFALU (11) finished second, beaten half a length, when resuming from a spell last start over 2000m at Kokura after he was prominent at the bend. Brings better form to the table than these and should be going one better. PANKY (5) is a five-start maiden who finished ninth at his most recent appearance over 2000m at Hakodate. This offers him a great chance of bouncing back to form. SHARIKIMON (10) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 2600m at Kokura, beaten 5 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the turn. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. I'LL DE REVE (7) finished 6 lengths away in sixth at his last appearance over 1800m at Hanshin on June 20. Worth plenty of thought.
