ANGER THE GIRL (9) is yet to break through after seven career starts. Could only manage to finish 12th last time out over 1200m at Kokura following a minor placing at Hanshin when fresh from a spell the run prior. Finds a nice race and gets the chance to break through. YAMANIN ALEXIS (7) went back early from his wide draw over 1200m at Niigata last time but hit the line strongly to finish sixth. Outdashed but got home well so the longer journey looks ideal. Expected to measure up. CHAMPION ROAD (8) is a well-related three-year-old colt making his first appearance. By St Mark's Basilica from Lovemedo who has produced the Gr 3 winner Crown Princesse. Promising type who is sure to be well-found in betting. TOKAI SIEG (6) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Kokura but raced below expectations last time over 1200m at Kokura, finishing 13th and beaten 7 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
