PHILIP (3) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt, beaten 6 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is fitter and good enough to feature. KURINO OLIVE (13) was in the firing line on the turn and finished third last time over 1200m at Kyoto Dirt, beaten just 0.6 lengths. Taking on a better line-up this time but she deserves her chance. MISUERU (5) finished third at Niigata Dirt two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1200m at this track, finishing 7 lengths back in tenth. Open to improvement and should be about the money.
