ARNIES ARMY (9) made a winning start for the new yard when he took full advantage of the inside draw for a dominant win at this venue last week. The draw wide on the second line creates more of a challenge but he looks good enough to play a major role. RACING PAULA (2) produced some good efforts in the Regional Championships series, finishing midfield from the back row in the consolation last time having earlier come from this barrier for fourth in the heats. This suits. PURE DRAGON (10) may need luck from this draw but there was merit in the latest effort for second and she strikes at 50 per cent at this circuit and distance. MCCRIKEY (1) gets the aid of the ace draw and is a player off the win at Newcastle two back.
