ESPERANZA (6) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when 3 metres from the winner in second at Newcastle. Draws wider but that added to a series of top-four finishes. Primary contender. WHAT AGAIN SHANNON (1) didn't do a bad job when fourth from this barrier at this venue last time out. CORAL CAYS (8) broke last start but still managed to fill a minor placing. With even luck and manners she can be competitive again.
