GOBSMACKED (6) was responsible for a very good effort last time over 1609m at Hobart, finishing second and just a neck from the winner. Good enough to take out a race like this. RANIERI (4) is in good form with top-five finishes at his last six starts, most recently recording a third over 1810m at St Marys. This looks a sterner test than last time but he is capable of adding to the fine recent form. IM QUITE AMERICAN (2) disappointed last time when ninth over 2150m at Carrick. Can turn things around from the favourable draw. CINOCAL JAMANE (3) was in the money two starts ago then things went wrong last start when she broke and finished a distant sixth over 1810m at St Marys. Can't make any mistakes against this field but she is right in the mix.
