LADY OF HOPE (1) broke through for the first time this prep last start when she scored over 2190m at Shepparton, getting home by 12 metres after leading. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she has the ability to mix it with them. JILLIBY RYDER (8) has been close to the mark of late and again performed admirably at the most recent appearance, making up plenty of ground in a sustained effort but finding one better over 1740m at this track. The driver has some work to do from this wide starting position. Won't find this any harder and he can grab that well-deserved win. ALWAYSATTHEBEACH (6) didn't do a bad job when fourth over 1760m at Junee last time out. RETURN SERVE (3) is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win by 1.1 metres at Junee over 1760m.
