Meets a comparable field so he is capable of another big run. SON OF DOC (2) finished fourth last start over 2400m at this track, beaten 9 metres, after a good win at Rangiora the run prior. Will enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position. Won't find this any harder and he can get back to the winner's list. CARLIN (6) is in the mix following a respectable second at his most recent appearance over 2400m at this track. SEASIDE POND (5) disappointed last time but is a chance based on a good win over 2000m at Oamaru two runs back.
