Will need an ounce of luck to slot in from this tricky draw but finds a suitable assignment and will take plenty of beating. HES SWEET (2) turned in a much better run last start, finishing second over 1780m at this track. Has the benefit of a good draw and rates a leading hope in a similar assignment. MATTEO (6) comes right into contention after scoring last start by 1.5 metres at this circuit over 2040m. Top-three conveyance. SMARTER THAN YOU (4) has been about the mark of late and must be respected, the latest offering a sound third at this course over 2040m. One for the multiples.
