BOY RACER (14) was responsible for a very good effort last time over 2300m at Mt Harding, finishing third and just half a metre from the winner. Primary contender based on that recent effort. HOKIE POKIE (8) is a three-year-old gelding by Captain Crunch from Bagdarin on debut. The driver has some work to do from this wide starting position. Looks to have some talent based on a recent trial win. Well-placed to score at his first appearance. BOYZONE (3) didn't do a bad job when fourth over 1980m at Addington last time out. Worth considering. SEASIDEMAGIC (13) cannot be ruled out but needs a bit of luck from the tricky draw.
