DOWN WARD DOG (2) brings strong form from Menangle where he won three back and placed in both outings since, the latest at Listed level in the Breeders Challenge Eastern Region 3CG Final. All of those were from wider draws than this and he has won here before so looks well placed. PALATINO (1) should be at peak fitness now and put the writing on the wall with an improved effort here last time, coming from this barrier and finishing just a nose from the winner. BOYZHAVTIME (8) placed last week and while he goes back to the second line he had this draw when fourth here prior. MIZZZ ADELE (3) was fourth from the back line last week and had come from similar draws to this when runner-up in the previous two outings here. Could be close to win.
