BETTOR WAY (14) has been racing well of late, placing in both outings since landing a win at Kaikoura. Goes well at this distance with a win and a placing from three attempts. Good enough to win a race of this calibre. STORMY VISTA (6) made an encouraging return after close to six months when he finished runner-up last week. Has won second-up before so expect him to progress off that. Draws wider but with even luck could go one better. SEASIDE POND (9) has been tackling stronger company at Addington of late and was good in a recent trial. Could measure up at this level. NORMIE STEAD (7) is worth some thought off a placing the last time he raced here three back.
