PACIFIC EAGLE (3) turned in an uncharacteristically poor run last start when 24 metres away in sixth over 2190m at this track. Form prior to that had been solid. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. Meets a similar line up and he is capable of a much better performance. IDEAL WHITBY (4) has been thereabouts of late and is a great chance to break through. Good effort last time out when he finished fifth at the Central Wheatbelt over 1730m. GOODONYA MATE (1) is worth some thought after his last-start sixth over 1730m at the Central Wheatbelt on May 3.
