KANENA PROVLIMA (4) looks close to a win after back-to-back placings, both from wider barriers and in higher-graded races. Looks well placed in this line-up and owns a decent record here so can break through. WAMBOYNEINAMERICA (5) hasn't been far off the placegetters in his last two outings at Menangle. Should be nearing peak fitness and has won four of six attempts at this circuit and distance so looks suited here. SAINT CRUSADER (2) came from much wider to place here two back then led from this barrier and stuck on okay in a last-start fifth at Menangle. WALTER WARLOCK (6) draws wider but gave a sight in leading and sticking on for second at this circuit and distance last week.
