DANIEL BOOM (9) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when 4 metres from the winner in third over 1609m at this track. Drawn to enjoy a cosy run but might need things to go his way at some stage. Meets a comparable field and he is a strong winning hope. HALLOWEEN (2) drew wide once again last start and failed to feature, beaten 22 metres into eighth at Goulburn over 1710m. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. Recent efforts are not a true indication. Good enough to win a race of this calibre. YELLA (5) is in the mix following a fifth at his most recent appearance over 1609m at Tamworth. WILL I AM (10) is a player with even luck from the back row.
