LOYALIST (11) has been down the track behind a couple of topliners in his last two appearances so will relish the class drop. Came from this row and raced three wide without cover when narrowly beaten three back at Maitland. This suits. JAY OK (10) is another that has been down the track of late but against must stronger opposition at Menangle. Won the last time he raced here, taking his record at this circuit and distance to two wins and a placing from three attempts so he is much better placed. SAINT CRUSADER (6) draws a couple of spots lower than when midfield last time and led to win from a similar barrier to this here prior. HAY THERE JOE (1) has been coming from wider or second row barriers of late and hasn't been far away so can be competitive from the inside draw.
