RAGING WHITEBAIT (6) has been well travelled of late. Galloped from a standing start in Tasmania last time and had been tackling good company at Melton prior. Won the only time he attempted this distance and finds a winnable assignment. A wide barrier proved too tough for SALLY BIGTIME (2) in the Regional Championships final last week but she did a good job to come from a back row draw for a resuming win in the heats prior. Aided by a good draw as is CAPTAIN GROOVE (1) who gets the inside barrier having come from the back line for second to Sally Bigtime in that Regional Championships heat before beating that rival home when midfield in the final. SAINT CRUSADER (8) draws wide but is a player off his win at this circuit and distance two back.
