DOCTOR GO JOH (9) settled in the leading division but couldn't finish the race off and could only manage sixth last start over 1785m at Stawell, that effort coming after a minor placing at Horsham the run before. Hard to know where he gets from this slightly awkward draw but has the ability to find the winners' list. DARK AND HANDSOME (10) finished fourth last start, beaten 19 metres at Globe Derby Park over 1800m. Talented and has plenty of upside and expecting a very good run. BAYSIDE VICTORY (4) is in the mix following a fourth at his most recent appearance over 2190m at this track. One for the multiples. ONA MERRY DANCE (7) is worth some thought despite her last-start ninth over 2150m at Bendigo on November 19. Capable of a lot more.
