THE DEVILS FLAME (9) was in the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then improved sharply at his latest appearance over 1720m at Penrith, scoring comfortably by 5.5 metres after being handy all the way. Has to contend with a very wide draw. That latest effort is good enough to take out a race like this. DOLCE DRAMA (6) is the next best after finishing third over 1740m at Riverina Paceway last time out. SKY BLU (8) ended last prep with a sixth at this track over 1609m 12 weeks ago. Capable of a forward showing while fresh.
