FIRESTRIKE (7) opened his career in the best possible manner last start, crossing from a wider barrier than this to lead before gong on to score by close to by 5 metres at this circuit and distance. Up in class but looks to have plenty of upside so could go through his grades. BIRDY GAL (2) came from a similar barrier to win at this circuit and distance and could be close to another success after placing from wider draws in her last two outings here. Major player. ROCK ASSET (1) drew deep then raced wide and broke last week so forget that result. Gets the ace draw so worth another chance. AMERICAN BOXER (4) has been coming from the back row of late and did a good job to place at Penrith two back.
