OAKIE SMOKESHOW (9) didn't miss a placing in a four-start maiden campaign, highlighted by a Newcastle win and a last-start second in the NSW Breeders Challenge Blue Final at G2 level at this circuit and distance in September. Draws wide but has upside and should be ready to go off a trial win. CLARA ROCKS (1) has switched to the Michael Stanley yard since last seen at Melton a month ago and was runner-up to Oakie Smokeshow at the trials. The ace draw can see her make an impact. KISS ME MINI (4) could be close to another win after coming from wider barriers to finish second in her last two outings at this circuit and distance. LEOTA (10) draws wide but is lightly-raced with upside so can progress off the resuming second at Newcastle.
