AVEIRO (4) should find this a bit easier than his latest solid effort when he chased along the spring lane to be beaten 4m. Came from the back row to miss by a neck as runner-up at this circuit and distance prior. Could break through here. HAVADASH JOH (3) showed good improvement when he came from this barrier to be beaten less than 2m as runner-up at Cranbourne last time. Fitter again third-up so could progress further. PICKLE IT (1) looks close to a win having come from wider barriers to place in his last three outings. Up in grade but should enjoy a nice run from the ace draw. TEX GOES BANG (7) draws wide but there was plenty of merit in the last-start win when he worked but proved too good by 2m at Cranbourne.
