SKYLAR BREE (2) has been racing very well of late and went close again last time over 1850m at this track, finishing third and 5.5 metres from the winner. Has the benefit of a good draw. Leading hope based on that latest outing. ESTHER JEAN (5) resumes from a spell of five months after closing off last campaign in good form, the last run being a solid third over 1780m at Redcliffe. Will have plenty of admirers. WECANONLYDREAM (9) will need some early luck, but he deserves consideration after his last-start fourth when resuming over 1780m at Redcliffe three weeks ago. STONES (6) is worth some thought despite his last-start eighth over 1850m at this track on December 7.
