TWISTA (5) was responsible for a very good effort last time over 2000m at this track, finishing second and just 0.8 metres from the winner. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. ROUGH AND READY (7) showed plenty of fight to score last start over 2000m here, getting home by just 0.8 metres. Tactics will be crucial from this wide draw. Taking on a better field but he is capable of running another big race. BLUE CHIP LOU (9) is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win by 9 metres at Alexandra Park over 2200m. CAPTAIN KOBE (3) should not have any excuses from the favourable draw and looks one for the exotics players.
