TEST OF FIRE (8) is a newcomer to the Corey Parker yard from Victoria where he has put together a string of wins and placings. Draws wide but was good in coming from the back row to score two back at Melton and owns a good record at this distance. PLAYA BLANCA (9) draws on the back row but came from there to place at Newcastle last Friday. That continued some strong form including a Penrith win in a higher-graded race three back. Big chance with even luck. MISTER MANAGER (5) has been taking on stronger company at Penrith of late. This looks a more suitable assignment. SIX AGAIN (3) has been coming from wider or second row barriers so looks well served by this barrier.
