Topline pacer MAGNIFICENT STORM (3) gets a good draw for his return and was terrific at the end of last campaign, leading to win the G3 Navy Cup two back before drawing very wide when a brave second in December's G1 WA Pacing Cup, missing by a head. Strikes at 50 per cent when fresh and has a great record at this distance. Hard to tip against him. BETTER ECLIPSE (10) continues to perform strongly, coming from wide draws to place in all five outings since recording a win here. Draws for a trail and if he gets the gaps can be in the finish again. HOTLY PURSUED (1) drew wide rand worked last start but led to win here prior so can be prominent from the ace draw. OTIS (2) is building in fitness and the good draw could see him more competitive.
