CAPTAIN RAVISHING (1) did quite well to finish midfield when resuming from a 50m handicap in a Group 3 then drew very wide in the Governors Cup last start. Two-time third-up winner and has trialled since the last outing so should be close to his peak. The ace draw gives him the chance to show his best. FRANCO MOTU (9) was far from disgraced from this barrier in last week's Nullarbor. Big class drop here and his strike rate at this venue stands at 50 per cent. Has winning claims with even luck. ALTA TRIBUTE (8) draw wide but deserves respect having hit his peak in a last-start win at this venue. MENEMSHA (4) gets a front line draw for the first time this campaign and has performed well when third-up before.
