JASPERVELLABEACH (1) has had some tricky draws since he led from a few spots wider than this to score last month at Pinjarra. Has the gate speed to take advantage of the ace draw. PINNY NOIR (6) has had no luck when midfield in the last two outings as he was hampered by a flat tyre last time and held up for a clear run prior. Won two in row before that and could return to winning form with better fortune. WICKED HUSTLER (8) draws wide but is worth plenty of thought off brave last-start win at this circuit and distance when he raced parked but proved too good as a hot favourite. BET ON THE RIVER (2) came from wider and covered ground when runner-up last week. Should not have any excuses from the favourable draw.
