JAPANESE MIKI (6) resumes here after closing his last prep with a fifth at Shepparton on December 23. Has ability and should be right in the finish. LORD MYRMECIA (7) ended last prep with a win at this track over 1800m three months ago. Capable of a forward showing while fresh. BOLT OF COBARGO (3) could only finish seventh over 1660m at Victor Harbor most recently. Open to improvement and is in the mix.
