LAMBRO MACH (10) was a beaten favourite in a higher-graded race at Melton last start but had to work when parked so was far from disgraced in finishing 3m off the winner. Starts from the back row but placed from this same draw two back at this circuit and distance and looks close to a win. NETRA (8) placed from this barrier two back at Maryborough and was good again when third at Melton last week. Has won here before and could be close to another success. NICE ONE CENTURION (6) will enjoy a class drop after tackling stronger company in the Vicbred Super Series in his three starts of the campaign so far and is unbeaten in two attempts at this distance. TORQUE POWER (12) continues a run of second row draws but was good when placed from there last time at Horsham and is a two-time winner at this shorter distance. POPCORNFRIDAY (9) showed good improvement for a 1.4m second at Melton last time and while this draw is tougher he could progress further third-up.
