CHEERS POVERTY (4) finished second last start, beaten 16 metres at Mildura over 2190m. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. EASTBRO JESSE (5) drew a wide gate last start and was safely held, beaten 7 metres into sixth at Maryborough over 1690m. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is drawn to advantage and good enough to play a major role. SPORTING RAGE (2) disappointed last time when ninth over 1609m at this track. Can bounce back. CHAMPAGNE WALSH (8) only finished 11th over 1690m at Shepparton last start but can do a lot better so worth considering.
