AMERICAN GUY (1) made an encouraging return for a 2.3m third at Melton then came from wider for fifth last start at Coolamon. No excuses from this advantageous draw and should be hitting peak fitness now. MACHFREDDY (4) did a good job to come from a couple of spots wider for third when resuming at Shepparton. Fitter for that so can make an impact again. BUBBLE OVER (6) is a chance after a string of sound recent performances, the latest a solid fourth from the back row at Ararat. SEASIDE SHOW (5) draws wider but gave a good sight last week at Mildura, leading and fighting well in finishing a nose from the winner.
