CURADH (8) was brave last week when he drew very wide and raced three wide without cover but fought well to go under by a head as runner-up at Gloucester Park. Had won two of his other three starts this time in so has been progressing well. Should enjoy a pretty soft run from this draw. Top chance. BROOKVALEGIRL (4) led and dug deep to hold Curadh at bay for a city win at her latest appearance. Can push forward again so she is capable of getting the job done. ALTA KING (7) draws wide but worked from a similar barrier and stuck on for second here last time. GEARSINAWHIRL (3) has some decent results under the belt and draws well.
