Draws wider but with even luck he is good enough to put himself in the winners' stall. LORIMERMAJOR (2) has had a series of wider or second row draws but there have been some good efforts including a Shepparton win two back. Well served by this barrier and owns a good record at this circuit and distance. REGAL ROCK (7) may need luck from a wide draw but is racing well, winning at Maryborough before finishing only 2.7m away last time. SHEZABLUECHIP (1) has come from the back line at her last couple but won the last time she started from the front row and gets the ace draw.
