PASTOR DUNBAR (5) came from wider for a win at this circuit when resuming two back then copped a check and broke last start so did well to recover for a 2m second. A good draw should see him hard to stop. ZOOLU (7) scored by 7 metres at Maryborough when resuming last week. Draws wider but won her only other second-up attempt so should be improved and she strikes at 50 per cent at this distance range. TIMMY WHIZ (1) will be fitter and gets the ace draw so must be considered after he finished third to Zoolu when resuming at Maryborough last week. STEPBYSTEP (9) hasn't been far from the placings in two starts since a spell. His lone career win came when third up over this distance so could do it again.
