YOUNEVERKNOW (8) enjoyed a class drop when coming from a 20m handicap to win here last week and had been racing well against the top three-year-olds prior, placing in The Ascent and clocking in fourth in the NZ Derby. Draws wide but his record here is strong and he is in form. YA RITE DARL (10) powered back into winning form with a last-start Group 1 success in the Queen of Diamonds. She was just too tough there and while she drops in distance is a big chance to deliver again. HILLBILLY (5) has come from the back row to finish runner-up in both starts here since a spell and should be close to peak fitness now. HIGHER POWER (7) has been kept fresh since a last-start fifth in the Derby. Could measure up.
