BEACH MAGIC (4) turned in yet another strong performance last start when he battled on bravely to just miss out over 1660m at this track, adding to a string of recent minor placings. Meeting a deeper field this time but he good enough to play a major role. PRINCESS ARNA (3) was unplaced two starts ago then things went amiss last start when she broke and finished 14 metres away in fifth over 1720m at Melton. No excuses from this advantageous draw. Must improve her manners but a much better run is on the cards. BETTING BARON (8) must be considered after he finished runner-up over 2040m at Redcliffe three-and-a-half weeks ago. MISS HATTIE (1) is in the mix following a respectable second at her most recent appearance over 2040m at Redcliffe.
