WESTERN ACTION (3) was yet again about the mark last time out when runner-up at this venue, continuing a string of top-four finishes including a win at this circuit and distance three back. Should have no excuses from this advantageous draw. GOODOLBOYSANDBEER (10) cops a tricky draw but will be fitter and must be considered after he finished runner-up when resuming from a spell at Redcliffe two weeks ago. PLAYFUL MISS (2) draws well again and could be close to a win having placed the last three times she raced here. JIMMY JOYCE (1) led from a couple of spots wider and boxed on for second last start at this circuit and distance. Has the speed to be prominent from the ace draw.
