Switches to a standing start but won the last time he attempted it so can deliver again. STRIKEM (4) turned in a good run last time out when second at this venue, beaten 1.6 metres. His last standing start attempt resulted in a second to multiple Group 1 winner Fate Awaits. Suited up to a distance where he has recorded two wins and a placing from three attempts. GEM PUNTER PETE (2) has been thereabouts of late and is a chance to break through after a good effort last time out for second at Redcliffe. SEND IT (8) will enjoy the return to standing start racing having won his last attempt.
