SIDESHOW BRUCE (8) is a strong fresh performer back after a spell of five months. Finished 13 metres from the winner in eighth over 2810m at Motukarara Raceway to launch his last preparation. Has to contend with a very wide draw. Makes plenty of appeal in this most suitable assignment. TAKETHEPLUNGE (6) turned in an out-of-character effort most recently when 8 metres away in eighth over 1980m at this track. Form prior to that had been solid. Leading hope if anywhere near his best. RADHA (9) last appeared when 12th over 2600m at Rangiora four-and-a-half months ago. Expect a better effort to kick off this prep. SONG SUNG BLUE (1) should not have any excuses from the favourable draw. Each-way claims.
