Taking on a better line-up this time but he good enough to play a major role. HAWK TOUIE LOUIE (2) has had two runs this prep and is yet to finish in the top three. Was again unable to find the frame last start when he finished ninth over 1609m at Richmond Park, beaten 160 metres. Will enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position. Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to test this field. REIMBURST (6) was easily accounted for when pulled up over 2000m at Motukarara Raceway recently at his first race start. Strips fitter and can improve. MAJOR LI (1) cannot be left out after solid recent performances, the latest a sound fourth at Ashburton Raceway over 2400m.
