ITWASWHATITWAS (2) was game in defeat off the inside draw last start, finishing second and beaten 1.3 lengths (29.33) behind Ardera Jake at this track. Winning chance. CHAROLAIS (5) charged out of the boxes last time with a hot early sectional but gathered in late, finishing fourth (29.62) at this track and bringing a three run string of minors to an end. One of the better hopes. SNAFFI MOJO (1) missed the placings here last start but is well-placed to bounce back.
