RUSSMUR JOSH (2) doesn't show much early dash but winds into his races, hitting the line hard to place two back then came home strongly into second (40.29) in a HCP at this track last time. Didn't win last time but still ran one of the quickest times on the card. Well placed and gets his chance. EVIESTEEL HOPE (6) recorded a nose second in an A4 last time 28.02 at this track and trip and also jumping from the same draw. Has the ability and looks a key chance. ROMANTIC JAKE (5) is long overdue for a win, finishing in the minors at his last three starts, the latest jumping from this same trap when third in an A4 at this track (27.96). Harder here but expected to feature again. WITTON BABS (1) will have admirers again after placing at this track and distance last time out.
