ZESTY KIWI (1) was game in defeat off the inside draw last start, finishing second and beaten 1.75 lengths (27.95) behind Hollyhill Rose at this track. Racing well and deserves a win. RILEYS REX (2) found some support last start but struggled into fourth (28.80), beaten 12 lengths. Was in the money the start prior. Remains without a win from the draw but has been in the placings five times from eight attempts. Has ability and is one of the better chances. COOGA ALAN (6) is a last-start placegetter at this track and distance – sure to have admirers.
