HEADFORD MAPEL (5) got the job done again after leading recording back to back wins at this track over 500m (29.73). Well placed and will be tough to beat. CLONKIL SMOKEY (6) has been going along well and was strongly fancied last time but could only manage third (29.71) at this track. Overdue and is among the main hopes. SOLDIER SAM (3) racing well without winning, placing at his last five runs. Last start finished 3rd on May 12 over 500m at this track behind Ballyboss Emily beaten 1.3 lengths (30.18) in a HCP. Nicely placed to grab a well-deserved win. CARPE DIEM (1) followed a moderate sixth at this track two runs ago with another plain effort last time and jumping from a 9m advantage in a handicap, finishing fourth, beaten 1.4 lengths, at this track over 500m (30.19). Tackles another handicap here and will be starting 10m from the scratch dog.
