DEREKS CHAMP (4) finished in the money two back then was well fancied latest and led into the straight but ran over, finishing second (24.31) at Romford in a OR. Quick beginner. Solid formlines coming through his last run. Must come into calculations. GUR GUR GRANVILE (5) is progressing well and looks close to another win after hitting the frame last run (15.25) at Nottingham. Didn't win last time but still ran one of the quickest times on the card. Expected to be in this for a long way. UNCLE ED (6) was well in the market last time but only managed fifth (24.84), beaten 10 lengths. Was in the money the start prior. Strong form has emerged from his last run. Can do much better this time. HARLEQUIN ERNIE (3) is not to be discarded.
